"Restaurant food is good, standard fare but served with a smile and a great attitude that makes is fabulous. Beds are probably as old as the motel itself. Creeky and loud. My husband slept well so that's a plus. Dog friendly and really affordable. Walking distance of a lot of stuff"

"Never stayed at the Tyee hotel but I’ve had lunch at the Tyee Restaurant a few times and always felt like I had a good home cooked kind of meal at a very reasonable price. No Puget Sound or Cascade mountain views that Whidbey is famous for but you can always do take-out and have a picnic at..."

"Booked a last minute room and drove from Southern California to care for a family member. We stayed 4 days at the Tyee. My overall review has some highs and a few lows. Upon arrival, checkin was quick and the bartender who helped us was extremely polite. We stayed in room 6. The room was clean and gave a cabin vibe. The bed was extremely comfortable. The restaurant was so conveniently accessible from the room. The food was amazing as..."

"Best breakfast I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The chicken fried steak and gravy was absolutely delicious, eggs done the way I wanted, and fast service. We also tried the fish ‘n chips and tater tots, fried to perfection and juicy fish. I recommend this place with ten stars if I could."
